Are the coaches seeing what everyone else is seeing? Or are our eyes betraying us?

They are seeing it. Just like they seen T. Edmunds, but most of the time a player gets taken in the 1st in Pittsburgh...he gets every opportunity. Hell You seen How we played T. Edmunds this year. They knew exactly what He could, and couldn't do, and used it against Him.

I haven’t watched this yet but I’m sure the Austin play is going to get a lot of attention and it should. Not only missed a TD but he ended up getting hurt.

    Thats a really frustrating play.

On top of KFPs other problems, he stares his receiver down pre snap to snap to attempting to throw to receiver.
I hope everyone is right, that a new OC will break a bunch of KFPs bad habits.
Also read an interesting article about the Steelers were thinking of benching KFP after Browns game, which was related to previous 3 games of regressions. But they got rid of Canada and KFP had a good game against Bengals. Source was Gerry Dulac.

If i was Mitch or Mason I would hang my cleats up and use my college degree to find a job! If they cant start here with the current situation, they most definitely cant start elsewhere.

No idea how Kenny and the Steelers will turn out but it sucks big time not having him have some down the stretch game experience. No idea how long he'll be out but it would be stupid as hell to put him in the last game of season if he is ready. Now some might say but what if the Raven game is for the Playoffs? If that's the situation then Mitch must have done something right and we best stick with him.

They are making a lot more in the NFL then any 9-5 job. I think a lot of second rate QB's hang around as long as possible for that nice fat check. I know I would have no problem being a back up for 15-20 years.

    Lol.

They are not gonna hang it up when it is so easy to steal money from an organization that sticks with players way beyond their shelf life date.

Plus who knows what their major was or if they even graduated. Where else can they make millions every year and retire at age 35.

I don't agree with some of what this guy says. He's not an expert, but he knows some things and goes through what he thinks he sees.

Watch the video at 11:10. The film shows the play from behind Pickett.

He shows the play Pickett was injured. Another bad snap by Cole makes Pickett move to his right and have to snag the ball with his fingers on his right hand. He had to bring the ball into his body and put both hands on it to re-grip the ball. Also, moving away from the left side and his momentum taking him the other way would mean he would have to reset his feet to throw. Austin is a 4.3 guy running towards the sideline so there is limited time. The defense was playing zone. If that play was going to work, it had to be throw immediately. The snap did not allow that. Picken was moving in front of the boundary cornerback to create a natural pick so the play would work. When the timing was throw off by the snap, I think Pickett just aborted the throw to the left because it took too long and both defenders are watching the quarterback's eyes because they are in zone. The outside CB was then passing Pickens off to the other defender and ready to break on the ball. . If Picken's moves past the CB, the CB would be able to break on the ball and be a possible pick-6. The CB stumbles, so he might have been able to still get the throw there, but there really wasn't enough time to see that.

I think once the snap was bad, Pickett looked at Harris or one of the tight ends. Jone's was beaten immediately so the pressure was coming from his right side, and he ran for it. He came up just short and was injured.

    That's what I think happened.

The guy in the video doesn't even think the snap was an issue. That is just another reason I don't think he knows what he is talking about. This stuff matters.

That’s got to be a torturous watch.
