I've been watching since You first said that in a different post. I'm not seeing the stiff Hips , but I haven't seen every game like You have. I got their game on now.

 

If we can get him in the second round, I would count that as a win. At least at 49.

How early should the Steelers draft a QB this year?

 

No earlier than the 6th.

 

I was going to say the 5th if the right guy fell to us, but I don't think we have a 5th.

I still think a backup QB should be judged by how well they can come off the bench cold. Mitch proved last year his ability to come off the bench last year sucked: 1 game 3 Ints. He then had a week to get ready and looked better. Not all starters can become backups.

 

Yea, I'm totally ok with a 4th or 5th round QB. If Hooker drops to the 4th round, it's very hard not to grab him there. He's going to be no more than a 3rd stringer for a year or two before becoming backup.
