OK. OK. I know he has been injury prone during his 9 year stint in Cincy but he still is an outstanding receiver on the field when healthy with a decent QB. He is a FA this year and will not command Cap killing money. Now that it looks like JUTikJUTok is turning into ABII, would there be any interest in letting JJSS go and going after AJ Green? It doesn't appear that he has been bungled the way that OchCinco and TJ Houshmanzada were.

I think it would be worth looking into.

    Thoughts?

The draft has better receivers for next to nothing as in $$$. Screw both of them

Even without JuJu, I like our wideouts for next year. DJ, Claypool, and Washigton is a solid bunch. The Steelers have had a lot of success drafting receivers. I think they can find a 4th receiver in the middle rounds of the draft.

AJ Green isn't even close to the player he once was. I would rather go young with upside, than old and declining.

We have a lot of good receivers. Not sure any are great. They definitely fill the #2 slot well. Not sure we have a true #1 which would help.

Having said that, I’m a no on Green.

AJ Green is finished his foot is all messed up.
The way the Steelers draft WR's no need to sign a FA one, unless it's special teams guy

I expect the Steelers to draft another 2-3 rd wr this year(Juju being gone and all).

I can see them getting 30-40 catches and a couple Td's of production out of them. Which is about the same as what I'd expect out of Green.

    I'll pass.

I think he is all but done so I would say no..Plus I don't think he is the type of WR the Team really needs..I think the WR corpis missing that straight line speed guy to scare the Safeties..I think we need a 4.3 guy not a big type guy...

Hard pass, he’s done. I don’t see the Steelers signing any free agents other than bargain basement roster bubble types.

If they were to go after anybody on that side of the ball I’d like Zach Ertz

What has he done since losing his cool against Ramsey? Jets retirement home seems appropriate.

He hasn't been an outstanding receiver in quite some time now. He's finished.

I'm with you on Ertz if he works with the cap. I don't know what they have committed to Ebron, but they can just ship him and his granite hands out of here. Ertz is a better all around TE.

As for the OP, I would have like to have had AJ Greene about 5-6 years ago. His next move in probably the CFL. Pass.

They can cut McDonald and Ebron and save about $10m, you’d get Ertz for a lot less on a well structured deal, draft a blocking TE to go with him, or maybe Gentry and Rader can improve.

I think Ertz will have a lot of suitors however, most of whom are better positioned to give him the $$$ he wants. He will probably end up in New England or somewhere like that
