    I see two reasons. Pierre is cheaper and he is better on special teams.

    pierre actually had a decent year last year. he gave up one TD but also had a pick. 41.9% completion rating in 2 starts. he gave up 13 catches on 31 targets. that ain't bad. he quietly had a pretty decent season. he played 260 snaps on defense. :cool:
