That would be my best guess also. Perhaps Kahn doesn't want Highsmtih to have a "Hold In" the same vein that TJ Watt did. Decreases the amount of distractions not just for the Highsmith but the rest of the team.

 

While the Steelers are becoming more man heavy, mind you this team now has the Corners along with that dude at Free Safety in Minkah Fitzpatrick to run the Cover 3. If anything, I wouldn't be shocked if the team does in all honesty as the ILB options currently prevent the team from effectively running Cover 1 heavily. Holcomb is really a gamble in terms of him getting to his landmarks in coverage to run the Cover more often and Roberts' greatest asset is run support.



Only major way I can see the team doing so is Keanu Neal playing the Hybrid SS/ILB role to compensate. That could work..... though him going down via injury would create quite the conundrum. With any luck... this year's Training Camp will give us more clarity.

 

Muse I believe could work the position if Neal went down.

 

Sounds like they signed him from the Mos Eisley canteena

 

On a side note I guess his Grandfather was a big Jazz player. But I am not really into Jazz so I wouldn't know too much about that stuff.
