The interference calls against Porter were weak, especially the one before the half that handed the Bengals a field goal.

I agree that many, many mistakes were going to happen regardless but Warren's set the pace.

He also said “it wasn’t a flea flicker” I laughed when I read his lips. Humorous feelings didn’t last long after that unfortunately

Not all of them. He needs to clean this up but unfortunately it seems to be baked in.

He does need to clean it up, but he wasn't the one getting abused all night. That was Ramsey.

The blame for not putting them away was on Rodgers for that dumb decision to throw deep to Metcalf ended in an interception, the momentum shifted the Bengals scored a TD afterwards.

Porter Jr. needs to clean it up, but it seems the refs bail out the receivers after a dropped pass sometimes.

It’s really not though because it’s just more of the same. We had a chance to put a dagger into these teams but lose to a team that was in shambles with a brand new 40 year old QB. This game will hurt them come end of the season.

Not in shambles but what it is: a mediocre team.

After watching Zac Taylor's post game interview the whole Bengals organization as well as the fan base and city was fired up for this match up! The Steelers not so much! Taylor said as he drove in to the stadium he seen fans around the stadium and around town fired up and that fired him up that anything less a win was unacceptable! In the stands Steeler nation nonexistent and on the field Steelers were acting as if they had already secured a victory! Piss poor showing to say the least! There's alot of football left to be played however the remaining schedule grueling!

This is just silly. They had a miscommunication. Tomlin said it was supposed to be a flea-flicker because that is the play that was called. Rodgers said it wasn't supposed to be a flea-flicker because he audibled away from it. Warren missed the audible. Communication errors can be an issue, especially on the road. It's bad, but not nearly what you are making it out to be.

Like I said, the Steelers did a good job selling a story and quite a few folks here were suckered into believing it!

This doesn't make your over-reaction any more rational. You were suckered into that clickbait article. Attacking doesn't change that.

I don't think the Steelers are in shambles per se but scabs from prior debacles were definitely pulled. Austin tried to blitz and go from man to zone and zone/man coverages and nothing worked. The players share some of the blame but as do the coaches. The biggest issue of this defense is they rely too heavily on takeaways; it's a splash or get dashed defensive philosophy. The good news is they have ten days to prepare for the Packers.

They rely on big plays, not just turnovers. They didn't get the turnovers against the Browns, but they did get sacks, which helped them put together a dominant performance.

This is how the NFL is.

We over react to every win.

And we over react to every loss.

This game was an important one and it sucks that we lost.

But it's not the end of the season.

And it's honestly not super-surprising. Division games are hard. Thursday road games are hard (and we're worse than average at them). Bills shouldn't have lost to Pats. But their season didn't end when they did.

Defense needs to not suck moving forward.

And we really have to figure out the ToP situation.

Problem is... we need better coaching and players on defense. Only cure for that is firing/hiring coaches, draft and free agency. Steelers need a real NT.
