How do you feel the Steelers prospects in the AFCN going forward?

    Here is my take:

    1. Ravens - still the top dog, have a young athletic QB in Jackson who despite winning NFL MVP, is not yet realized his max potential. If he ever learns to be a consistent passer he can be a GOAT. Defense and running game is always still good no matter who is there. We should have taken Dobbins.

    2. Browns -- years of sucking and accumulating high draft picks have finally paid off. Their coach outcoached HOFer Tomlin from his basement. Mayfield is actually a competent QB. Chubb and Hunt are the best RB duo in the league. Defense kicked our ass even with Ward, Vernon and other missing pieces. They will be contending with the Ravens for 1st in the AFCN for years to come.

    3. Bengals - Burrow will come back and he will be good. Team may still suck for a few years but they have a young QB to build around.

    4. Steelers - old, bloated and about 3 years past due for a change. They can start the turnaround next season if they have the courage to make significant changes. I doubt this happens so they will battle with the Bengals for 3rd in the AFCN for a few years but it will be 5-7 years before the Steelers contend for another AFCN title again.

    1. Ravens - Jackson has yet to prove he can pass from the pocket, something he is one major knee injury away from needing to do. Keep Jackson in the pocket, he's pedestrian. Could that change, maybe...doubt it as he is no Watson or Wilson or Mahomes. As far as Dobbins goes, he wouldn't do **** here because the Steelers have no O-line.......Running backs are a dime a dozen if you can build a line, unless you are Henry but even he was shut down when the Titans O-line didn't play well.

    2. Browns - They'll **** it up, don't worry.

    3. Bengals - All depends on Burrow's recovery. He uses his mobility a lot and if he loses that he'll struggle because we know the Bengals owner wont' spend the money to protect him.

    4. Steelers - We have been here before, 1998 - 2000 were Cowher's rebuild years. Shedding old players and large contracts and 2 losing seasons allowing them to draft a QB. 4 years is what they gave Cowher to rebuild.

I'd be ok with going 2-14 next season and getting the #1 or #2 pick in the draft. So long as we continue to go 8-8 or better we will never draft another franchise QB.
