AFC North

Looking at the standings, a couple of lucky games and we could still win the division. Remember when the AFC north used to be scary good?

 

It’s gonna take a good coach to win the division with our talent.

At least the Browns suck too, they got their only win over the crappy Jets.

 

They should have never fired Gregg Williams. Kitchens is in over his head.

 

Browns are better than us though and that’s sad

 

The Ravens will have this division locked up by week 10. It makes me sick, but its true.

 

Even though in another thread I wrote the postseason is gone. This division may prove me wrong. A win over Baltimore may be enough, especially since I'm not at all convinced Lamar Jackson can make it through the season healthy.

 

We are doomed.

One thing for sure, The SB rep from the AFC will not come from the North.

 

As I stated in another thread if the Steelers win their next 2 games at home with the Bengals and Ravens they will be 2-3 and 2-0 in the division and only a game behind the Ravens in the standings at 3-2 with the head to head tiebreaker in hand assuming the Ravens beat the Browns next week which I feel they will do to get to 3-1 overall. So yes things are bad now and do not look great at all and it’s going to be a huge uphill battle for the Steelers. But the season is still not over yet I feel and there is still time for the Steelers to play their way back into contention in the AFC North by winning these next 2 games at home with the Bengals and Ravens.

Their are still games on the schedule remaining as well that are very winnable I feel. The Dolphins, both games with the Browns, another game with the Bengals, Arizona, Buffalo and the Jets and even both the Colts and Chargers games I feel are winnable as well. So I wanna see how the Steelers do the next 2 weeks at home with the Bengals and Ravens before I completely bury them for the season. A lot can and will change drastically should they somehow find a way to win both of these games which is definitely possible.

 

I'm back and I'm definitely not nearly as depressed as some you are.

 

The chin always used to say there is a fine line between being a good and bad team. We got trounced week 1, but the last two were winnable games that the Steelers didn’t. Have to find a way.

Steelers need to make the season respectable because it’s not respectable at the moment

Every team in the north lost so we are not back anymore then we were going into game 3.

 

The play calling was terrible in the 1st half after SF turnovers. That is what lost the game more than the fumble, IMO.

 

Not at all. I refuse to get that upset over something I have no control over. I'm just a fan. I'm a long time Steelers fan, but I choose to get more upset over things I have control over.
