That's pitiful. And he sucks at those things.

Does "sucking" include having the second best overall coaching record since 2007; second only to Bill Belichick? :hmm:

Your last statement: "He is not the man game planning. Both Butler and Ficthner have total autonomy of their gameplans. Tomlin has nothing to do with that. Nor should he."
    What am I missing here?

    "Nor should he."

As I said, should Tomlin step in, that is on the coordinator for letting that happen.

On that note, Butler has GOT to go.

So if what you're saying is true he has no say in gameplanning and he's not the one keeping Butler employed ,maybe Bradshaw is right . I guess he will have his job as long as he wants because he can't be blamed for anything. I would say his camaraderie (players calling each other out) and focus skills (team collapsing tonight) need some fine tuning.

Aww, come on man. If MT's team keeps underachieving year after year after frickin year - sooner or later, the buck stops with him. He may not be making the play calls or the defensive strategies, but he's the one that's ultimately responsible for the product that is on the field. If there weren't a pattern of mistakes, poor situational play calling, lack of pre-game strategy (other than "we do what we do"), and serious lack of in-game adjustments - with completely different coaching staff underneath him - then I'd say he gets a pass due to his stellar record. But what good is a great record if you fall apart at the worst possible time (usually playoffs) because of all of those things I mentioned?

If he has zero say in gameplanning, why did he take over last season as groutbook pointed out?

As I said, Tomlin should not be game planning anything. That is what you pay coordinators for. If the Head Coach has to perform the role of that coordinator, there is a massive issue.

You said he had zero say in gameplanning not me or so I thought. You pay coordinators to come up with gam plans and call lays during games but that does mean he doesn't have to approve them and he isn't able to make changes during the game. Many many coaches call their plays either in O or D. Why would it be so crazy to think that Tomlin doesn't or shouldn't or couldn't.

I wonder how much faith the players have in Tomlin. How do they feel about the same outcome in almost every game. I think he has lost this team and it's to the point where they want and need another voice leading them. This team has way to much talent to continue getting outplayed in the 2nd half of almost every game. When they get screwed by a bad call make your feelings known. Maybe it's just me but if Cowher had this much talent things would be different then what Tomlin is doing.

So two false starts and one block in the back not called, which amount to most of the Chargers points. Wow.

Well you can take solace in the fact if they lose two or three more games, Tomlin will still not have a losing record. There don't you feel better now?

And continually losing in the playoffs usually 1 and done? This year won’t even have to worry about it though cause this ***** ass team won’t even make it.

how does a professional football team not make adjustments when a team is consistently beating the same guys? how does a professional football team think it's a good idea to have LB'ers constantly cover the other teams best WR and not give help or change any coverage? coaching, that's how.

McCarthy's record was good, too. Packers have done what the Steelers won't do.

Philip Rivers even said after the game that he knew the Steelers were not going to make any adjustments with linebackers covering Allen, because thats what they do..:facepalm:

I think it's pretty well known and that's how guys get the edge on the snap. Problem is when he gets the offsides call because of it.

If he's going to wiggle the ball then he'd better get called or not get the benefit of the doubt on an offsides call...
