Brown has a history of not paying his bills. From what I read early it was related to moving drivers. Now I read it was related to his trainer and the driver. Unclear how much AB was involved.

I see he's still more wide open than JUJU has ever been since he left.

This whole saga isn't going to unfold good.

It's going to end with harm of himself or some one else.

When we was kids there was big field close to our neighbor hood where we would play for hours building forts, have rock fights and ride bikes like kids do. One day in particular one of the buddies came walking up with this clear liquid bottle with an elongated spout chugging it down. I think we were 9 at the time and one of the older guys said "dude you're drinking out of a douche bottle"! He asked what is that? After the explanation he just kind of got a disgusted look on his face and then said "well I was thirsty and I found it by the fort... Screw you guys"

Just figured I would share that since we was on the subject of dumb ****s.

    HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

I feel nothing but sadness and pity for AB now. He clearly is bipolar or is suffering from bonkus of the conkus or something. It’s far beyond the normal arrogant sphincterism of a diva WR. This will end very badly, tragically, and soon.
I guess Tomlin was a better handler of his players than we gave him credit for. He got good productive seasons out of AB, Gruden and Bellicheater couldn’t.

Well it was either that or Concussus Burfictus. Actually Bonkus of the Concus was from a Donald Duck comic book, years ago.

Just don't yell, "I'm taking the Bentley" in your best black female voice. He'll run the mile in 4 flat. ;)

Good point. Who actually got something FOR AB last season? Steelers: a 3rd and 5th and addition by subtraction. Raiders: major disruption, egg on the face. Patriots: minor disruption, egg on the face.

Despite your sarcasm, they did set a precedent. Actually, it wasn't truly a precedent because LeGarrette Blount had manipulated his way to the Patriots a few years back in a similar fashion.

Luckily for the Steelers, the accusations of sexual misconduct saved them from that issue and made them look good. Brown's inability to function without the structure of playing for an NFL team is just making him look worse. I'm guessing the meltdown was always going to come when his career was over, but I doubt it would have gotten like this if he was still playing.

I've known people who needed a certain structure to keep them going and then they completely fell apart when they lost that structure. it is often true of athletes. I remember working on a story about academic standards for high school athletes a long time ago. We interviewed coaches, athletes, former athletes, building administrators and even a couple of psychologists. Almost everyone told us that the last thing you want to do with a struggling student is take their sport away because it is often the structure that comes with the sport helping the athlete keep it together. If they were declared ineligible, they were more likely to quit on school or fall apart entirely than they were to work hard and get back on track.

Obviously, this is a different situation, but a similar principle applies.
