My recollection of TO was that yes he was a outspoken diva that showed up on the field..... but he had ZERO off the field problems. I may be wrong, as I didn't follow him as closely as the Steelers, but I don't remember hearing any 100+mph chases or throwing furniture from a high rise out of TO.

    Yes, this.

What he is doing is conduct detrimental to the team. I think they have every right to, and would have the legal ability to get back some of his signing bonus money. That's when he will cave. When the courts order him to write the Steelers very large checks.

This is what happens when idiots are enabled by other hangers on idiots into thinking that they are smarter than they are and cause them to challenge actual smart people.

I’m surprised we don’t see or hear or say more about his agent? Rosenhaus is every bit as much of a cancer in this league as AB has become.

It’s no coincidence that the two biggest diva players with the two biggest breakdowns of a player have been led by rosenhaus.

I would almost guarantee you he is the biggest person in AB’s ear and his motivation is simple. Another payday is all he cares about. Rosenhaus loses nothing by AB tainting his legacy. There is no more contracts after this one.

Rosenhaus is a slime ball and definitely gives agents a bad name. Having said that most times the guy is about a big of an advocate for his clients as anyone. He really doesn't care what you, I, or anyone else except his client thinks about him. Obviously that has it's downsides, but it's what he's paid to do. Sort of like what Scott Boras does for his MLB clients.

Rosenhaus' best work was probably for Willis McGahee after he completely blew out his knee in the Fiesta Bowl. The guy was a sure Top 5 pick to a third or fourth round pick. Rosenhaus through sheer hustle, ingenuity, and hard work still got him drafted late first round. He really earned his pay with that one.

Not so much with AB though. This thing has been ridiculous, but in this case he may have an uncontrollable client.

Even though Rosenhaus is a dick, he's still an intelligent guy. You can bet that AB is driving him nuts with his insane ramblings. He'll still take his money though.

AB's antics have caused his trade stock to drop big time. If the Steelers give him up for anything less than a 1st rounder OR say a 2nd rounder + a starter it will be a travesty. I'm at the point I don't think he will be traded. Teams are seeing that he could be a cancer in the locker room but more than that teams know that the Steelers are in a tough position so why offer much for him.

I hope they keep him. Play or sit, his choice.

I heard a rumor that we'd get like two picks from them, number 35 and 100-and-something. I'd be fine with that, I guess. Just get AB away from us.

I’d honestly take a first rounder in 2020 and nothing this year just to end the drama. At this point AB is the biggest jagoff in the patch. If he ends up with the Raiders Las Vegas would be a good stage for his antics.

AB can't even sit on the bench for one game. Remember what he did in Cincy.

At least the sideline will be entertaining in Oakland

We're going to see Gruden's head pop off.

Eh... I guess I’d take that over the drama of the team having to enforce the contract. Most drafts I wouldn’t, but pick #35 in this draft can land you a really nice defender. There’s ton of defensive depth this year.

Front office I'm interpreting as Colbert. I got into this in the past that despite the criticism of him, he's shown to be one of the best GMs in the nfl. So anyone interested could view previous posts. Last NFL's draft is really yet to be seen regarding grading it IMO. Okorafor played pretty well. Edmunds I believe led the defense in snaps or was close to it but by Colbert's own admission the concept of using him to replace Shazier fell flat on its face. I'm not too hard on that as I remember the situation and we've already dicussed that at length with not picking up Darius Leanard. So in short, I think we can do better grading last year's draft after this year and I like Colbert as GM. I also don't think Rooney has any intentions of changing that anytime soon which to me is good.

As for Tomlin, he's missed expectations this year. Rooney pointed that out. We've been seeing these personnel issues with the highest profile players. I think I'd be a fool if I didn't think Rooney and Tomlin have had private talks about what needs to "change." Rooney has already come out saying they aren't planning on extending Tomlin.

In other words, Tomlin is in spotlight IMO. I feel confident in giving you a guarantee that Tomlin will not be the head coach of the Steelers if they miss the playoffs again next year.

I actually DO believe the Steelers will make the playoffs next year. If he does make the playoffs, they probably will just run his contract out. I think it's two more years, and then go with fresh blood at Head Coach.

It will be interesting to see and hold it to me or against me this time next year.

Seeing the alternatives, if they could get that for him it'd be a steal. I like the idea of targeting Gruden though with all those picks. It will be more than entertaining seeing Gruden and Brown interact on the sideline.
