shouldn't we be able to get some of this money back? it's not like he quit his job at 7-11 or something. why appease this goof and allow him to walk away, get a new contract and we are stuck paying him or at least on the hook for his money. sorry AB you will be 33 when you are testing free agency in a couple of years when you current contract is up. until then sit at home and pout.

 

Bobby I normally tend to agree with your posts, but the mental illness thing I disagree with. Not that he does or doesn’t, but the fact the no one here could know that.

 

We should trade him to a Team with a crappy QB and send Bell to a Team with no Offensive line ..If I was the Coach I would make it public if you have problems at the QB spot or you intend to run the ball more than you pass it we are looking for a new home for AB...At this point value be damned just punish him for his actions ... This will help with future players who might try the same thing...

 

Part of me wants AB traded to a team the Steelers play in 2019 and somebody goes "Burfict" on him the first play. I have not seen one quote from him that this is about winning. May be he has, but autocorrect keeps adding an h after the w.

I disagree. Is he elite or the best? Absolutely not. But once he got a LEGITIMATE number 1 receive they took off. Cooper was arguably the best wr in football for the 2nd half of the season.

Thanks. I did hear that segment before. I thought maybe something new had developed, a direct quote from AB. The only thing I've heard from him in 2019 is "I just want to win, play with a team that's going to win".

Because of Brown`s behavior off the field, I expect Rooney to tell him he will probably have to play for less money if he goes somewhere else, but he is free to look around for a team will take him and that will pay him what he wants. After Brown looks around and gets no results he likes, I expect he will change his mind on demanding a trade.

 

Yeah, as if the long term starting QB on any team does not get some special consideration. That`s just the way it is because of how important the QB position is. That`s because receivers and everyone else is not as vital. Starting QB`s have leverage.
