Yes, agree with these 100%, especially in light of the super bowl. The patriots, the entire franchise seems to be locked in from top to bottom. Clearly not the most talented team in the league, but there they are hoisting the Lombardi again because everyone has a singular focus.

If Bell and Brown are back next year our season is over in July. We need to ship Brown to the worst team possible, and not even negotiate with Bell. Wash our hands of those two and send a positive message to the rest of the team.

All valid points but...But if he is still a baby ( dont see how he is all of a sudden gonna change )

He will still be late for meetings...When he doesn't get fed during a game, He's gonna stomp around...

I've heard this from alot of people not just you...Dock him for this, sit/ suspend him for that...

So he'll always be benched or suspended...How the Hell does that help us

I just ignore dumb crap like that.. Just a part of his psychosis needing validation. Unfortunately there are too many dumb fans that are star struck and would have replied and shown him love.

And yet what Brown did is a completely different category, one that has been overblown because it happened as the team was being eliminated from the playoffs.

I know this is a forum to discuss things when we're bored but honestly the Steelers don't deserve to be talked about.. There toxic behavior doesn't deserve any of us to have them on our minds

You did state talent supercedes trouble correct?! The level of trouble does not matter. The level of trouble on the other hand? That in itself brings a new set of issues; doubly so if divas are in the equation.

Whether or not people like it or not, AB is as good as gone. He challenged authority. It is now time to send a message.

His behavior is not set in stone. Like anyone else, take away some $$ and benefits and he'll respond like anyone else.

the problem is that he's been ALLOWED to go unhinged, and now he's off the rocket.

It's really not much different than giving a kid a cookie every time he demands it.

Hypothetically, if he were suspended for this, would this affect any guarantees in his contract or upcoming bonus? As much as I watch football, I don't understand how this contract stuff all works.

If the Steelers are going to trade AB they would be wise to do it as soon as possible. AB is a time bomb at this point. I am not sure we will make it to March without AB doing something stupid and lessening his trade value. In this current climate no team wants to take on a player with domestic violence demons.

Agree, at this point I think they have to take whatever they can get even though its less than what they want. Would you take a 3rd round pick straight up for him right now??-I think they would have to consider it. IDK.

Ugh! If the Steelers only end up with a 3rd round pick for AB I think I would be physically ill. :puking 3:

The key is to get a deal in place now, and then keep your fingers crossed that AB doesn't muck it up before the new league year. I think the Steelers are still looking at a 1st rounder as long as something more substantial doesn't surface.

Was just coming to post this. Unreal. He's putting the Steelers in a real difficult position and I'd bet he's doing it on purpose.

I have no clue, just talking out loud. His talent is worth a first round pick, no doubt. Waiting could be risky. Could get best offer possible, or if things keep coming out, could be worse.

Unfortunately I don’t think anything can be done until the new League year starts.

I am under the impression that a deal can be negotiated and even announced. It just cant be consummated until the new year starts. I think that happened with Alex Smith last year. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Just trade Brown. Dude is the worst, man. As a longtime Brown fanatic, this sucks, but he’s gotta go.
