Idk...Colts with all that cap room..A really good young team...already, Offense and defense...You add add to Hilton, Mack, Ebron...

And like I said...They have over 100 million in cap room...They could probably add 2- 3 more very good players, on TOP of AB

Its of equal value. How much longer do you think AB has? As I said, he's older. I don't believe we could get Peterson AND a draft pick for AB. Peterson is to the CB position as AB is to the WR. Both are tops in the league.

Issue is look who is the GM. Cris Ballard is an Old School manager. He does not play games whatsoever. Furthermore, much easier to obtain a Wide Receiver in the draft for them.

Regarding that $100 million, Indy is likely going to spend some in Free Agency. I do not expect them to go crazy like so many believe them to enact upon. Expect them to be players in Free Agency but not big spenders.

Have a lot of flexability...Was just saying for arguments sake...IF they got AB, and IF it was just a neverending spat between AB and Ben...

They are getting one hell of a weapon and player...I'd even go as far as saying that with all the money they have, getting him ( if his minds right ) would make them the favorites, on paper, for awhile!

A lot of people say this but, Rice played into his 40s. TO was, 39(?) Barring injury, why couldn't Antonio, ME ME ME, Brown play another 10 years?

He might be able too but it’s not the norm. If you tried that argument with a GM he’d turn it around on you and say well why can’t Patterson.

    ......

    ...........

I just love the fact that, suddenly out of nowhere, somehow, someway, the New England Patriots are a deity! For that matter, I also love the fact that, despite the obvious shortcomings during their season, they will still win the Super Bowl because reasons! Truly remarkable how said team is on an even higher pedestal this year than ever before!!!

Praise New England!! Praise Brady!! Forgive us ignorant Steelers fans for we know not of which we speak of!! Help us Belichick in our darkest hour!! Save us Robert Kraft from evil!!!

    #HailToTheGOAT12!

Aside from Bens play what does he do to the culture of the team. I think that is what people are questioning/wondering. Is it part of the problem with this team? As an aside I dont think nor do I believe Ben should be taking veteran days off.

I said it before, and I'll say it again - no way Gruden gives up a 1st for AB when he just gave up a WR 7-years younger than him for that same #1. It's not in his master plan.

AB going to the Colts would make them instant favorites next year imo.

I think basically Ben just needs to shut up and play football. He runs his mouth in the media and it gets him in trouble with people in his own locker room.

I got to wonder if LevBell comes back if Ben wasn’t saying Connor has to get a fair share of snaps even when Lev comes back.

I call out people for misogyny when they use it here. That does not constitute getting "all PC" when someone makes a joke toward me. When I criticize others, I focus on what they are posting. It isn't that hard to do, but most don't bother.

Again, Roethlisberger sat out the Wednesday before the game in New Orleans, which was his best of the season. That alone shows that your whining about the Wednesdays is silly.

Regarding the preseason, I agree with you that it is a mistake. I don't agree with you in blaming Roethlisberger. That's on Tomlin.

If you buy the narrative coming from Bell's surrogates, the front office was to blame for that one. They wouldn't promise not to tag Bell again. Otherwise, he'd have been there for the final six games.

I think Fittipaldo is overestimating the return the Steelers would get for Brown. All of those would be good returns on Brown. I especially like the deals bringing back Peterson and the 33rd pick or Howard and the 13th pick, but I don't think either of those is realistic.

If the Steelers threw in a mid round pick and AB, for Peterson and a second round pick.

You complete me:smiley1:. I don't think he shouldn't necessarily get a day off when needed. My point is that he shouldn't of taken the last Wednesday of the season off. Just because he took the Wednesday off before the N.O. game and happened to play well doesn't mean jack. Technically that wasn't a must win game the Cincy game was. We had to win to have a chance before we could ever worry about Cle. pulling the upset. It was most likely the last Wednesday practice for months. I don't get what's so hard to understand that you should take advantage of every opportunity you can get with the season on the line...smh.

The first part you know very well that I agree with it.

The second part. I don't think so. I think the only way Bell was coming back is if they agreed not to tag him again. I think that might be where the FO screwed up if that's the case. They could of used him to make a playoff run. It's strange how well we were playing when there was a chance he could come back but as soon as he couldn't our O and our OL in particular fell apart for a few weeks. Some of it was Conner being hurt but the OL clearly wasn't playing like it was before.

So why can't we get the Khalil Mack type trade? Two #1's?

I guess I don't understand? This is the best WR in football. Everyone is saying the best we could get is a 3rd rounder? That is BS.

People are acting like Roethlisberger is choosing to take days off. Tomlin dictates that. I personally don’t like it, but I’m not going to blame Roethlisberger.

Ben did practice the Wednesday before the Raiders game, and that was shaping up to be one of the best of his career.

Rice is arguably the greatest football player ever and by far is the best receiver ever. Please dont compare AB to him much as I love AB rice is in a different class. Not just as a player but as a teammate and leader. TO played but was a shell of his former self during those times.

Did he sit out the first three weeks, when the offense looked terrible?
