AB speaks out about Burfict hit.

Now suppose we did hit the bully and we go 15 yards the wrong way or don't gain the 15 we did. Maybe then we don't get the field goal and go to Denver. Is it better to loose a battle but win the war?

Ok, Blast, I'm a hypocrite and you're a freaking idiot if you think Wallace's reaction is on the same level as Burfict's intent to maime and injure. Now that we're one to one on the name calling let's get back to the discussion. Burfict's reputation as a cheap shot artist goes back to college. Does Wallace have that kind of reputation? I don't think so. Burfict is a criminal! Wallace is overly aggressive at times and not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but I really don't think he's out to end careers like Burfict is.

 

Thank you. At least we agree on this point. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that Blast thinks they are on the same level. What Wallace did was not smart, but I do not believe there was malicious intent involved.

 

Well, I thought we agreed and now you seem to be talking out of both sides of your mouth. You say above that you agree with me that the Burfict assault and the Wallace reaction are not the same, then you seem to say here that the fact I don't think the Burfict intentional hit to the head can be compared to the Wallace hit is wrong. Which is it?

 

I'll refer you back to the post in which you called me a hypocrite. You said Burfict's hit was in the heat of the moment too so you seemed to be putting the two on equal footing. And calling me a name is not the same as my recommendation that you should watch women's figure skating, which is actually pretty entertaining at times. And, yes, I do know what a hypocrite is. Do you know what a freaking idiot is?

Anyway, I thought this discussion had ended weeks ago but somebody poured gas on it tonight. Wallace did a stupid thing, I'll give you that, but I still understand why he did it. I've said it was misguided retribution but I believe his motives were pure. Burfict, on the other hand, shouldn't even be in the league. He's trying to end careers. No comparison!

Come on...Burficts hit was "NOT" heat of the moment! He was stomping all over the field looking to get a shot in wherever he could from the Shazier hit and on! He'd already dropped an MMA knee into Ben's throwing shoulder. Anyone who looks at that and says that's a natural motion is insane. He saw Brown go up and saw a chance to light him up!

If that had been what Wallace did I'd be screaming for his head as well! Cleaning people off the pile is garbage and most of us didn't like Kimo's or Fosters crap either!

I was speaking to the point that there really was nothing wrong with the Denver play on AB. Not the Burfict hit.

 

Burflict needs to be taken out post suspension.
