I hope the Steelers win a Super Bowl before AB retires. :frown:

I think he has 5 good years left in him... and then a couple more after that, to pad his HOF stats. Hopefully Rudolph is the real deal and hopefully AB is the "Tom Brady" of WRs.

do you think AB will be among the greatest of all time when it's all said and done? Rings aside.

Yeah, he may even challenge the GOAT, Jerry Rice... before it's all said and done.

assuming AB plays 20 years like rice, he would have to average 11.5 tds from here on out to match Jerry rice lol. AB has gotten over 10 just twice and Ben is at the twighlight of his career.

Lets say ben plays great for 2 years, mason takes over and continues the level of greatness and AB gets 15 tds the next 5 years. Then he would need 9 tds a season for the remainder 7 lol. Jerry rice just put up ridiculous #'s. The first 3 years of AB's career were brutal to TD numbers as well.

I think he will be top 5 but rice has the stats and rings and I doubt he surpasses him in either... he completely dominated in the sb and postseason in his prime. He even has a sb mvp. Hard to overcome that.

Thank God Mike Tomlin wanted to pay Antonio Brown instead of Mike Wallace. What a smart coach.

AB is one of only seven players with a 99 rating. He is awesome. The definition of elite.

as long as Antonio doesn't get seriously hurt he will be top 5 of all time I think. fitz is about to beat TO in yards 15,934, fitz has 15,545. So fitz will be 2nd in yards. got to love fitz, wants to retire a cardinal and still playing at a high level.

TO and moss were the closest to coming to beat Rice with 15k+ yards but both still shy 40-50 td's.

I think Rice is safe for GOAT

I will say if anyone is to beat Rice it's AB, but he has to keep this level of play for another 10+ years at least.

    :lolol:

Tomlin has made some good decisions over the years for the offense, sans '08 draft. I'll give him that. But defense is a total clusterf**k

His best draft for defense was his first draft in '07 with Timmons and Woodley. Steelers have had a lot of whiffs and potential whiffs since then... along with some really bad luck (Shazier).

I think he has a real shot to be "among" the greatest, but he's never going to surpass Rice as the GOAT.

I give AB props for competing this high of level while being his size. He is toe to toe with all the big WR's stat wise first 8 years.

It isnt just about the stats it was also about the winning too. I love T.O but he was a team cancer. Fitz is great deff a top 10 receiver but only thing about him is he was kinda overshadowed in his era. Early on moss and T.O then later on megatron. All of them in their prime were better than fitz but he has been so solid and consistent for such a long time and is top 10 all time at his position.

Which is why imo he should be gone. Defense is supposedly his "signature" but ours continues to be TERRIBLE year after year.

I'd rather him be on a box of Wheaties.

Hopefully he doesn't get the "Curse".

We all know how Madden hates the Steelers.
