    Chicken Little? Is that you?

    Seriously,
It's the first week of training camp. Getting this worked up, you will certainly have an ulcer by the time the Steelers play Cleveland opening game. Probably just had a bad Rolling Rock the night before.:getsick:

Tomlin refused to go into detail, but he said Brown's problem was day-to-day and minor. He is certainly willing to dance around injury discussions, but I can't think of a time that he flat-out lied about one.

All teams do this. The only reason they are somewhat honest about injuries during the regular season is the league requirements for injury reports.

Does Bell's groin injury before the AFCCG in '17 count?

Funny thing, I really hated that guy in the 70`s but it gradually wore off with his change to a TV personality over the years. The stink wore off, lol.

Yeah, I'm struggling to see how AB's injury is being turned into yet another anti-Tomlin thread.

He basically says they'll have more information later, and he's given a vague summary. I don't know of any other HC who would do differently.

He does still have 89 other players to worry about so maybe he just doesn't know the extent of it and told the press what he knew at the time.:cool:

Oh boy can't believe I am gonna stick up for MT but here it goes. Ever think it is the media who is making stuff up and turning it into more than it is? I mean that would never happen right??? AB was seen smiling, playing catch and signing autographs so with fingers crossed I am going to say MT may be right by saying day to day. jmo

No need for him to push it in camp. I will take Coach at his word as a minor injury. He has over 4 weeks to get right ,I am sure he will be ready for week#1.

    because

    1. tomlin likes to hide things, so take his info as 50% accurate.

    2. expected = more than likely, so like 75%

    3. fine = not 100% more like 75% good to go.

    so in my calculations, .50*.75*.75* = .28.

AB has a 28% chance of being injury free in a couple of days.

    :O

It isn't hard to understand why at all. This board is loaded with people who can't pass up any opportunity to bash Tomlin. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve some criticism. I post on another message board, one that isn't all Steelers fans, and I'm usually the one who is most critical of Tomlin there. But it gets out of hand here.

With me - and I could be the exception - but I don't like being lied to. And, I don't like liars.

It only started to get this way, on this board, in the last year. And it’s only a small number of attendees, but they say the same thing in every post, over and over and over and over....

In this series, the OP started a legitimate post, and then used his own post to repeate his 47 prior posts on the subject.

It’s kind of taken away some of the fun from good discussion.

It's gotten worse since Tomlin's mistakes have multiplied. It seems normal.

Tomlin isn’t lying to you. You’re not entitled to any information from him.

Definitely since the bumbling against NE followed by Jax. I was a Tomlin supporter until then, now I’m middle of the road. But I only feel the need to say this once.

And right now I’d like to move on to this season.
