Brady going to Tampa and winning a SB while Bellichick floundered really hurt his reputation. Still a great coach, IMO but Brady solidified who was more important to NE’s success.

Ever since I saw that Favre didn’t show up until about 2 weeks before the season started for the Vikes, I’ve felt Rodgers will do the same.

Hope not but I think that may be the case.

I’m not sure the Steelers/Rooney will tolerate that

It has been stated there is a limit to their patience

My guess is June 10 is the limit

heard a beat reporter for the steelers on NFL XM say that he dosent think AR is worth more than 1 or 2 wns this year, compaired to Rudolph. If thats all he is worth, he is worth nothing. dosent move the needle enough to justify signing him

That was Favre's MO in his later years. He had hinted retirement with the Packers a couple of years before he actually did, citing the offseason camps as a big reason. Then, when he finally did 'retire', he infamously tried un-retiring after training camp and re-joining Green Bay. They hedged, leading to his trade to the Jets.

Caused quite a stir amongst the cheeseheads.

Rodgers learned some things about Brett Favre!

My expectation is that Rodgers will sign with us after the training camp in mid-August and yes the Steelers are desperate enough to wait that long!

    The 3-day 'mandatory' camp is June 10 -> 12
Then it is not again till ~July 21 sometime which of course is mandatory and final preps for the season.

I would not like it but Rogers could pass on the the 3-day camp.

I'm thinking along with rumors, that he should sign June 9 or 10. I think the terms are pretty much in place.

    They went 10-7 last year

    Two wins is 12-5

12-5 is a good team and could do well in the playoffs and would get a better seed probably winning the division

Try again. Carroll's time away was intentional.

No team found Belichick worth hiring so he jumped to college.

This .....this was exactly the problem. He was still a excellent HC, but His GM skills sucked.

No way you think this team with Rodgers is going 12-5 and winning the division. No way.

Especially since Rodgers was 5-12 last year with the Jets, which is 2 wins less than the Jets had with Zach Wilson in 2023

I don't think Rodgers at age 41 can afford to skip training camp.

You can't never skip the training camp when you are new on a team and you are a QB but Rodgers just don't care and he hate the training camp and OTA like crazy...It was also the case for his mentor,Brett Favre

Yes. When I bet it was at 8.5
I plan on winning this 5, or 6 years straight.

I said the Steelers. There is more then Mason on the Steelers.
I believe I have guessed correctly every year I've been on the board, except one year, I was off by a tie.

I'm not confident right now they need to sign Rodgers and another receiver before I bet the over.
