Bellechick won nothing without a HoF QB.
Bellechick couldn't coach up a QB that didn't have HoF potential

I would imagine Rodgers only reason for returning would be to improve his exit and contrary to popular opinions we have a team that should make the playoffs and after that anything can happen

The Steelers don't retire numbers but there are certain numbers they don't give out. Or if they do retire them it's for just a few players.

I still can't believe the Steelers haven't retired Bradshaw's number....that number should have been retired since 1985 at least!

I hope Rogers strains a hammy getting into a cab. Not to severe just enough to make him reconsider playing again

Numbers we never see given out........

    52, 58, 59, 12, 36, 86, 43, 1, 7

    75, 32 and 70 are retired.

Numbers that are given out even though they were worn by HOF'ers: 37, 88, 82

I added #7, too. I don't see Steelers giving out that number any time soon.

Steelers will eventually have to go to triple digits because so many jerseys will be retired or not given out. :lolol:

We'll be playing in the Milky Way league by then. Our bitter rivals will be the Uranus Browns.

He hates Aaron as much as I do and doesn't want this thread to hit 100 pages. I think Rodgers is reading this board and holding out just to get to 100 pages and screw Rollers;)

To be clear, I don’t want Rodgers here , I much preferr to ride with Mason this year, and if he does sign here NO to the number 12!!!

I do prefer Rodgers over cousins…..:

If that’s the case then my polling thread should NOT have been merged into this generic Aaron thread.

Going to be interesting to see what happens if the Brown release Sanders before the season trying to move him to their Practice Squad? Does Tomlin make a move to have Sanders put on the Steelers practice squad instead of Skylar?

Steelers lost their late round QB pick a few years ago trying to move Chris Oladokun to the practice squad.

The Steelers have officially retired three jersey numbers - 75 (Mean Joe Greene), 70 (Ernie Stautner) and 32 (Franco Harris). However, there are several jersey numbers that have not been issued for the Black and Gold in regular season play.
