Average net yards per attempt is a little more correlative to wins. PFR has Lamar as the leader with 9.38, league average at 6.13, and Rodgers at 5.87, ranked 24th.

The caveats would be some small sample size guys ahead of him and the Jets' OL last year. Not saying ours played worlds better, but it's worth noting.

Rodgers was first in the league with the quickest release. So he must have just got the ball and fired it for a short pass every time.

Ben was like that in his final 2 seasons. It depends on the O-line, of course, but it's important sometimes to let the play develop if possible, especially on third down when you need a first down. A team must be able to mix it up.

Of course, it's harder to do that when the O-line is terrible.

Guess who was tied with Rodgers in yds/att. That would be Mason Rudolph. LOL.

I don't watch many Jets games, but I'd heard their o-line was terrible last year. I know Breece Hall has dropped from 5.8 to 4.2 yards/attempt and 11.5 to 8.5 yards/reception.

Teams are adjusting, the Jets aren't adjusting back.

Because the team was spiraling and Wilson was playing poorly. Switch QB’s and see if it gives the team a spark. The point total of the games Fields started has no bearing, its not like that is the guys career average, hell the team put up 30 points or so against the Colts with Fields at QB.
