I am not sure about this but isn't Rodgers asking for a 2 year contract from whoever takes him?????????????

I agree the Steelers are going for one in the draft. I just wish the fresh start at QB also had a fresh start at HC.

That may be a residual part of it, but I think the PTB are overly dedicated to the notion that if you get to .500 or better, you're in the playoff hunt. If you're in the playoff hunt, you've got a shot at the Super Bowl. This isn't untrue, but lean into it too much and you end up where the team has been for the better part of 10 years: mediocrity.

To aggressively trade for a WR you then dedicate $30M/year to while having no clear QB1, while opting not to sign anyone substantial in free agency for fear of losing a comp pick or two in the following year's draft isn't a winning mentality. It's laying up.

    lol

for a self proclaimed know-it-all, you’re pretty damn naive believing what you read. Then again, I guess it makes sense… a self proclaimed know-it-all has to be naive.

Come back when the Steelers actually take some action that wins them a SB.

If you feel that way, why even bother watching the team?

Why would any team still sign Bridgewater, even as a backup? If you have to play the guy, you will be lucky if he lasts a series or two before getting hurt again.

You don't have to be an insider to know which veteran free agent quarterbacks remain unsigned. A Google search will do.

I know the available FA QBs. I said the Steelers would look at the next best value for the team. I don't know who that is on the list. If you do, please share.

Is google going to tell him which of those QBs the Steelers value the most?

I personally do not think they are looking ant anyone else and will go with Rudolph and a draft pick if Rodgers doesn’t sign.

Thompsons fate is tied to Rodgers.

That's why I preferred bringing Russell Wilson back he would've signed right away, and we wouldn't have to deal with this AR drama.

Thompson is on the team either way as #3

Unless we only have 2 then he gets a promotion

If they sign Rodgers and draft a QB then Thompson is the odd man out. Thats why I said his fate is tied to Rodgers. I feel drafting a QB is a forgone conclusion.

Wow. I'm not sure how you missed this, but I wasn't literally asking you who they liked best. I was asking who you thought might be a viable option. I'm not seeing any good ones.

I didn't expect him to know who they would value. I was challenging him to suggest a remaining option who doesn't suck. I don't think there is one. (I'm not including Cousins, who isn't a free agent.)
