Rodgers will sign with the Steelers he visited with them for 6 hours, and had a throwing session with Metcalf you don't do all of this if you're retiring.

You do if you are an attention whore like Rodgers. He has no problem wasting other people's time. Also, there are reports that he is still hoping the Vikings will change their minds and make an offer. The Steelers should have pulled their offer and told Rodgers to take a long walk off a short pier by now.

If he does sign, which is certainly still possible, I hope the home fans boo him at his home opener. They should.

Aaron will struggle if he signs with Steelers. He was on decline even before his Achilles surgery. His arm strength has dropped off. He is not willing to take hits and bails out. AFC North is a tough division. I don’t see Aaron taking some of the shots that Russell took last year. Steelers fan will boo him when he starts sucking and he will. I rather have Flacco than this look at me flamer.

Rodgers had twice the stats of Flacco last season

That being said Jeh, both Rodgers and Tomlin have slight credibility issues when it comes to the truth. In Tomlin's case its about playing time and starter status specifically.

If it is Rodgers, the OL and skill positions best work on their conditioning. No more of the Ben muddle-huddle, it will be race to the line so Rodgers can catch them with too many men on the field or neutral zone infractions.

There's no reason to pull the offer the season doesn't start until September, I don't think it will change their draft plans either.

There has already been a feel of the inmates running the asylum with this organization for years. Optics matter, and the optics of Rodgers jerking them around for months are not good.

I think there has been a handshake deal for a while. Steelers have probably known for some time that Rodgers would sign here.

One big difference between Wilson and Rodgers, Rodgers can read a defense and get rid of the ball. He can also still navigate the pocket. Wilson was bad at all of this.

I don't think he's jerking them around I'm sure the team feels good about him playing for them.

Yeah, I would have loved to hear rumors about Rodgers practicing with Muth.

I still think the chances are greater than zero that Pickens is dealt before or during the draft.

Saw a mock on The Athletic that had him traded to Carolina for their second, where they took Jayden Higgins. I could get on board with that.

Why would he go to DK? Actions speak louder than words.

I think it is equally possible that this is a step in the process. Everyone assumes that this is Rodgers dragging things out. For all we know, there is an agreement in principle, and they are just working out details, etc.

I am good with a trade at a 3rd or better. If it is a 2nd, even better.

I think anything less than the above, and we should take a chance on a compensatory pick and use his services for another year.
