Yeah, because Wilson probably isn't ready to make a decision yet.

You wrote "when we signed him" in your post, so it was clearly referring to last offseason, not this year. Wilson also visited with the Giants last offseason. He went there right after his first meeting with the Steelers. In both cases, he insisted on being guaranteed the starting job before signing. The Steelers initially said no. So did the Giants. Then the Steelers gave him what he wanted, so he signed with them.

Aside from the Metcalf trade, this offseason reminds me of that time I snatched one of my grandma's chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven, took a bite and realized it was oatmeal raisin.

This Rodgers thing feels even dumber than being strung along by Aiyuk and the 49ers last year. Can this team’s leadership be THAT stupid??

I did that at a friends house once early in the morning badly hungover

I grabbed a cold pierogi out of the fridge thinking the potato would settle me

    It was stuffed with sauerkraut

I though you'd be taking me to task for disparaging what is the oatmeal raisin cookie. ;)

Go away darkness retreat, this has disaster written all over it, $30-40M per, for 2 years, and front seats at our very own reality show. One thing that will be funny is watching Tomlin try to keep it all together, while Aaron Ayahuasca ignores him and says and does what he feels like, if anyone think AR is going to sublimate himself under Tomlin then they're crazy.

It is going to get real nasty for the Steelers at home games, the free ride the Steelers get in PGH is over.
We are tired of the mismanagement , player acquisition , coaching.

IMO, best pierogi I ever had was at a street fair in downtown Pittsburgh. Second best is those nutbags that run around PNC;)

I too think the boobirds will be louder then they have been before. Sometimes it gets nasty. I've been at Philadelphia games where they are very verbal and ugly at times. I sure would hate that for the Burg but I'd understand. Let's all hope it doesn't come to that.

You're assuming they will be doing more losing than winning.

Bloomfield Bridge Tavern, their pierogi were the best. I used to jam there and would always grab a Polish Platter. Wow.

I saw a report that the Giants were still in on Russell Wilson even after signing Winston. I have to imagine their offer to Rodgers is still on the table, too.

Thanks for pointing that out. Still, folks are going to have feelings about how things have gone thus far.

Personally, the scattershot manner in which they've operated over the past couple of years makes it hard for me to have confidence there's a cohesive plan in place, let alone fallbacks should something go wrong.
