AAron will be talking to the Steelers today

It would be damn embarrassing for the Steelers if he retires or signs somewhere else at this point, but I certainly wouldn't put it past him.

 

This is the exact situation I knew would happen if we went after Rodgers. I mean for what? Did they see him play the last 2 seasons? Russ is still out there. I’m not a huge Russ guy but at least he wants to be there. I think letting Fields go was a bad move. He was young and had talent. We just never let him open it up to show what he can do. So, now we are stuck hoping a 41 year old Rodgers whose good days are long gone will sign with us. This so he can miss OTA’s and then start talking about us on the Tank Top show. Oh I mean the pat McAfee show.

 

I agree and they already look terrible for putting all their faith in a guy who does whatever pleases him. With all the things that have already been said from Steeler players it’ll be a bad situation if he signs. The locker room would be in a bad place if we lose the first couple games. Anyway I am just very surprised the Steelers organization would stoop this low.

 

I would love having Ben over Rodgers --but would Ben do it --and its looking like we might get Rodgers ----if he doesn't choose retirement ..

Lets hope AR retires and we sign Mccord in the 4th.

But rather to see if how it will be run matches how he wants it to be run

If you are suggesting he is going to walk into an interview and tell Tomlin and Mr Rooney how he wants the Steelers run that just isn’t going to happen

If they won’t listen to what you and I tell them they aren’t going to listen to him

Wilson visited the Giants before signing with the Steelers.

 

At some point the Steelers became more in the drama business and less in the football business. I hope they don’t sign Errant, he can do nothing for them but suck away resources better used on other areas of the team, and if he is good, get them worse draft position in 2026. I wish they would end the drama and let Rudolph run the O for a year.

The Giants signed Winston for the exact same money the Steelers signed Mason for. 2 years $8 million.

I still think the Giants and the Vikings are still in play for Rodgers and Wilson.
