This is a lose lose situation. At best you might get a 9-8 season with him being healthy all season long. This has Tomlin's low IQ written all over it. He is a season away from Achilles injury and is 42 years old. I heard criticism that he shied away from contact with jets. He probably get hurt trying to run away from Myles Garrett. There are hard hitters in AFC north and this 42 year old is going to be second guessing his decision.

If the Offense doesn’t produce with Rodgers, fire entire Offensive staff and HC.

Now Omar Khan get off of your ass and go get some more weapons on offense.

Not that I really want to argue the point but the Jets were not a QB away from serious playoff contention last year or even being good so why would a 42 yr old coming off an Achilles tear want to take more abuse than they have to? I mean seriously does shying away from contact move the needle at all given his weird lifestyle choices and lying. Lets throw in there that he once dated a member of the Browns and see if that does something.

Lot of Doomers. If the line plays well this could be a heck of a season.

Lot of people negative because of his beliefs and actions outside of football. Why? When he's on the field he's a gamer. Yep he's old but better than what the team can put on the field.

    Could be an exciting year.

Sure the hell ain't the Steelers I grew up with.

Does make things more interesting. To cheer for a guy I dislike. To cheer for a guy who denied us #7. Sure hope that injury bug doesn't bite.

I could never stand Rodgers but he's a Steeler now so I'll be rooting for him like I would any other Steelers player.

Yep, that is my fear with him. I have trouble seeing him playing 17 games.

We know the age and the 2024 season of Rodgers will be the excuse for the steelers if our offense struggle again

I don't know why people root or don't root for people because of their political beliefs. If that's the case you could never watch another sporting event, listen to music or go watch a movie. Who cares what some ball player, singer or actor political beliefs are. Respect them for their talent in whatever entertainment industry they are in.

Look at the plus side; an injured Rodgers gets Rudolph and maybe even Howard on the field. At worse, you get a 6-11 season and a good pick in 2026. What's the problem?

I know there are rumors about Rodgers lifestyle etc. Mason better watch out with his new Mouche and that YMCA look. This move has disaster all over it.

That's the one downside I have about Rodgers coming here for this year, we aren't going to get to see Will Howard all year unless there is a pile of injuries.

The season will probably be over by then. Hopefully it happens early in the season. It would be another thing if they were winning with him. They will struggle to hit .500 with him. It would have been interesting to find out about Rudolph and Howard. If they succeeded, then it would have been a plus. If they failed, they would know what they have. Now Rodgers takes away useful game time from Rudolph and Howard and we are not any step closer in finding a franchise QB
