He's better than the producer they had on and has a better voice than Ken Jennings (Ken is good as far as the overall flow, but his voice is just too high for me). He doesn't have a good delivery though on the answers though, almost as if he's just reading them off. Trebek had that delivery like he was familiar with every subject. Did not like Dr. Oz at all.

Couric and Jennings are passable just don't like the pitch of their voices.

Which Steeler would be the best Jeopardy host? Roethlisberger wouldn't put in the prep work. JuJu would be on TicToc while reading the answers. TJ Watt maybe? Josh Dobbs is no longer a Steeler. He would have been smart enough to do it. Heyward may have the best overall combination of work ethic, personality, and media speak.

He's terrible. And actually the producer Mike Richards had the highest approval rating I believe. He actually was a game show host before. Dr. Oz was just as bizarre a selection for a host as Aaron Rogers.

I agree he's not the smoothest, but with some work his voice fits better than I expected.

I read an article on that, can't explain it, but I really didn't like the producer. I think it was the way the camera cuts were happening though. It just wasn't natural. I don't know if he's responsible for the cuts and tempo of the show, but it was off when he was the host.

It was full frame single contestant shot-full frame host-full frame question-full frame single contestant....very off putting. Usually they have a wide shot rolled in more often so you can see all the contestants score and buzzer mashing.

    Mike Tomlin.
No matter what you think about him as a coach....the man can talk.

I was thinking about Tomlin. He seems to be well read, if you get him away from coachspeak.

I agree he would be a decent host with that silver tongue.

James Harrison - "OK folks, time to suck it up. Just like in Football, they're no Participation Trophies on Jeopardy! You're either a Winner, or a Loser!"

Mayim Bialik and Buzzy Cohen are my favorites so far. They both just get the tempo and pacing of the show and seem natural with the question and answer banter.
