I'm assuming from his name that he's from Great Britain? Was he a convert from "soccer" or rugby? Guess I'll have to read up on him. Looks like life around the Royals is as eventful as the Steeler's roster. Is the average Brit citizen as wrapped up in it as the media is? Monty Python would have a field day with all this sizzling material.

I really don't get the whole point of this international roster spot. I guess it's to develop talent from other countries.

Anyway good for him, guy gets to collect an $7500 a week practice squad check, and gets health benefits and gets to use all the Steelers food and facilities.

Sounds good till you realize he pays taxes in bot countries. A 2017 article (I believe Forbes) did an article of how much players would make if a team was placed in London. One contract they used was Groff's rookie deal, 15 mill guaranteed would the less than 5 mill take home. The average minimum bloke would take home around 125,000. That does not include local and state taxes, plus having to account for living accommodations in 2 locations and food.
