I'll dox myself, but this is worth it



I literally had $400 in my pocket. My first few months was living in a homeless shelter. In September I lucked into a job at a hospital as a temp employee. In January I got hired on full time, and on the two year anniversary of me relocating from Pittsburgh to Portland I'm encouraged to apply for a position that would double my wage. To go from a shelter bumbing smokes to this is a testament that hard work pays off.

 

Congratulations! Sorry it's in Portland. (I don't like that place at all) My wife has worked in hospitals here in San Diego for 30+ years.

Thanks fellas. I'm just glad I had the support of my friends and family to allow a low budget move to work. It could've easily gone very bad, very quickly. Knowing the system and the best outreach ahead of time had its benefits.
