I quit listening to hip hop in the early 90's... because I became obsessed with Led Zeppelin and grunge music.... but I still adore 80's era hip hop. Before Napster was eliminated in the early 00's, I downloaded sh!tloads of 80's rap MP3s and still have hundreds of tracks on CDs. Great memories.

I have Sirius XM too. Favorites are... XMU, First Wave, Pearl Jam radio, The Loft, Classic Jazz, Lithium, Grateful Dead radio, Classical Symphony. Bluegrass Junction is cool as hell.

Wasn't that when Joe Theismann broke his leg when that horse fell on him during a game?

Jam on it! A classic. Reminds me of 1984. Great year for music.

I always liked Wayne Newton. Of course "Danke Schoen" is the crowd favorite and there isn't a dry eye in the building when he sings "Danny Boy".

Good god, you're kidding me, right?

I seen Joan Jett open for Robert Plant and twice more headlining. I wouldn't waste 5 cents on Pat Benatar. As for Women rockers it doesn't get much better than Joan Jett or the Pretenders.

Isn't it great that our weekly complaint thread turned into bickering about the half time show instead of the lousy performance we saw on the field?

When I used to watch the Bears and Vikings battle it out, they were real bears and real Vikings.

And if it wasn’t for this, I would probably be able to remember the 70’s.

Blink-182 was on last week I think. I was expecting a high energy hit song, you know it is a football game.
I don't know what song it was but it was slow and lame.
They need to drop this music stuff.

    Not my MNF!

Musical tastes are subjective. We should not quarrel about music. We are here to argue about the Steelers.

I don’t know any of those except bells toll. They are not going to play that because it seems to speak of death and wouldn’t be allowed I don’t guess. I’m not a metal fan, I’m just tolerant and can enjoy any music and I’ve been to a VA tech game and it is a great opening atmosphere
