    I like Ben's response.

Uh... Tomlin has only one Super Bowl win. He's 1-1 in the big game just like Cowher. Cowher has more playoff wins in his first 10 years with less talent especially in the skill O positions. Edge goes to Cowher, so far. I like Tomlin... glad he's the coach of the Steelers, but until he wins another bowl... Cowher has edge and more playoff wins. It's like Luke Skywalker... he wasn't a Jedi (Lombardi, Walsh, Noll, Belichick) until he defeated Vader. Tomlin must win another Super Bowl before he is a Jedi. Tomlin has destroyed the Death Star with the win in XLIII... but he has NOT defeated the Empire yet.

Ok, with coach Noll....it was never being out coached. Some teams have your number or the offense, defense, spteams had a bad game...but never out coached.
Big games...team was prepared and focused. Were they perfect No! But, they were prepared and disciplined. They dominated the woeful teams
Coach Cowher did build that Superbowl team... As a matter of fact, two different superbowl teams during his tenure. And went through some terrible times in search of a qb. Defense was stellar, offense ground and pound wear you down. Never wore the title of being out coached. Player made a mistake...the player would come off the field way down the other end ,in order to , escape the spitting stiff chin of the wrath of coach Cowher.
Coach Tomlin...not only inherited a Superbowl caliber team but also the staff minus the wiz and grim reaper. Drafts were mediocre. And, as for him being a db coach, his development of db's are garbage. Speaking of coaching...unlike the previous two coaches, he's labeled consistently of getting out coached and not having a Superbowl caliber team focused and ready to dominate. His losing percentage against under .500 squads are atrocious. But with all the con's being said... The pros are mind blowing
    1) Youngest head coach to win a Superbowl
    2) Never had a losing season
    3) Coach of the year and produced other coach of the year
    4) Finally, have drafted a Superbowl caliber team of his own
    5) Well liked and respected around the league...
I tried to keep it short but also get my point across...Tomlin is more of a Tony Dungy type coach....

He has 1 Super Bowl win and 1 Super Bowl loss. I am not a fan because we should win those games against sub .500 teams. Thats a clear indication to me that he has not properly prepared his team or he does not have control of his team to allow them to sit on weak teams over and over. There is clearly an issue and it has to be on him to correct and he hasnt done it.

I'm not a fan of Tomlin either. He shows no emotions when players are doing bone head things. He just let's everything roll . Ben is playing like s..t with these int's again, Cowher would've been ripping into him.

Cowher and Noll drafted franchise QBs. Roethlisberger and Bradshaw. Let's see how Tomlin does after the reign of Roethlisberger.

Do you know how many coaches had stacked teams and did absolutely nothing with them? I think Harrison who got his start because of Tomlin did something in that super bowl win I don't remember what though. Didn't Woodley make some noise in that game as well? Also weren't most of those players in that super bowl team the same players that went 6-10 under Cowher 2 years pryor. Jesus Joe Gibbs had a team of hall of famers in DC and had a losing season. Really it's more impressive to win 2 years later with someone else's players. Those aren't your players they may not fit what you wanna do. Tomlin adjusted to them. Looking at this team now which is completely Tomlins and vs the teams then there are some huge differences in terms of scheme.

Ben isn't what he used to be , Bell is saving his ass. What other teams used to fear the most about Ben, was when he used to run to his right, now he's a stay in the pocket type of QB, which is saving his career too. It would be easier to replace today's Ben than say the Ben from around 5 years ago. The O-Line can protect anybody now.

Cowher didn't want Ben. Never wanted Ben. And didn't like Ben. The Rooneys drafted Ben not Cowher.

I just don't think Bradshaw likes coaches. He still to this day still is mad about how chuck noll treated him. They won 4 Super Bowls together, still can't get along. There is a reason why Bradshaw doesn't come back to Pittsburgh much. For a guy who had a lot of success he has some bad feelings he has never gotten over. Winning wasn't everything to Terry I guess.

Not just Bradshaw and football either. People are still pissed at Jagr and he is still confused as to why, some are mad at Mario about the new arena still even after the Cup wins. All fan bases are fickle just like the players but I have found ones in the Burg have a small bit more zeal about it.

Ben will have to be perfect against Brady at Gillette... if it comes to that. Hopefully... Steelers will face Chiefs at Heinz Field in AFC Championship.
