A few observations

While this game isn't a season ender it did show some issues this team has. James Connor is a good RB and should be for a long time but he has a problem. He has 4 fumbles through 11 games, it doesn't sound like much but he already has 1 more than the average number of fumbles NFL RBs have for a season.

Ben continues to try to force the ball to AB at times he shouldn't and it almost always results in stalled drives or INTs. A minor issue may be Vance McDonald, he has been really good but he is prone to drops at critical times.

Joe Haden looked bad, if he is that slow that Sanders can run right by him then the Saints game is going to be over at half time. The other issue is the safety play, this team has to have the worst safety play of any playoff team.

Morgan Burnette just isn't good anymore and Sean Davis is slow to react and still takes poor angles. The final deal is Edmunds, I know I'll take heat but he is going to be a bust, I'm calling it now.

He looks like a deer caught in the headlights, he is slow to read and react and while he is a rookie he doesn't look like he is improving at all, not good considering the amount of playing time he is getting.

I think that the best we can hope for this season is maybe getting to the divisional round at best but offense is still too inconsistent to compete with the top teams and the defense is still giving up massive rushing yardage and the secondary is looking bad.

I think the jury is still out on Edmunds, but you might be right. I've noticed whenever I see Edmunds, it's the back of his jersey. Dude has no ball awareness yet.

 

Man looking at that Gif of Ben and that last INT...looked like an RPO and Conner thought he was going to get it instead of Ben pulling it back.

He gets into the endzone if he gets it IMHO because it's all blocked up and the LB is coming in at an angle.

Why rush it there anyway? You have a time out!

 

It’s hard to figure out Ben ,always has been.
Remember his damn int at around the 10 yard line in the Seattle SB ,but also remember his TD to Holmes

He’s a HOFer but not in the top tier of it
