This is another tweener. More suited to be a 4-3 DE than a 3-4 DE. We already struck out with Leal and Loudermilk.

Can we please get a 300+ run smashing DE/DT. I know Tomlin will love his athleticism, but we need someone that can hold his ground against the run game.

We need to spend our time in the Big and Tall store shopping for a DT, and not at the Gap shopping for an EDGE player.

Darius Robinson would be the player Isaiah Loudermilk failed to be. Another is Maason Smith; someone who I was extremely high on heading into this season but his play came and went sadly. Still very much an extremely talented and gifted player but more raw than I initially suspected.

Getting back to Robinson, definitely worth checking out in Round 4. Will not be available in the later rounds for the overall depth of this class, doubly so at Defensive Lineman, is poor overall.

Most believe I am quoting Jim Nagy but I have already been on record about much of the depth of this class already; doubly so IDL. Other than JerZahn Newton??!?!?....

Agree I really like Mason Smith. I can't wait to see him at the NFL Combine with Kris Jenkins. Jenkins just needs to grow 2 inches and put on 20++ pounds to take over for his All-Pro Dad. :)

He can put on 10-15 pounds, and play in a 3/4.

The video is more about the Kentucky blocking allowing him to run free to the QB, but yeah, he’s a good player. I have no idea yet where I would slot him in the draft.

Those guys at Steelers Depot said they see him as a third round pick FWIW.

Exactly. I have been saying it for years. Tomlin loves the quick twitch types like a Warren Sapp because he coached the guy. Not saying this guy is like that. I would much rather prefer 330 lbs plus to eat space and blockers and push the pocket back. I’m tied of seeing our ILB’s unprotected.

Hasn’t really produced in college. Its a big bet on Height and Weight we did that already with the long haired dude on the DL.

We already missed on Leal, don't draft another tweener type.

Fiske had a great combine coming off a dominating Senior Bowl performance. 292 lbs is pretty light for that position but he is extremely quick off the ball.

I think he is a good size to play DE in a 34.

I don't know. Playing on the outside, dealing with OT's at 6'3 1/2, with 31" arms could be a problem.
