I was thinking, today. Would it benefit the Steelers to call a vanilla game plan, not give too much away. Being that odds could be likely that we will be playing the Bengals in the Wildcard game, or do you go all out, because you want to host the wildcard game? Nice part is Bengals are in the same boat, as us. I think you going to see all the strings pulled by both sides.

I just just would not put in anything new and save it for the playoffs. I think the all teams have seen already what each team has and it will be pretty much the same. Although I think Cincy will try to stop the counter run to the left with Bell similar what Kansas City did, if they load it up to stop the run we need to change it up and play action all day.

Do whatever it takes to win, trying to secure the division here and better seeding.

These teams know each other so well, don't think that stuff really matters.

It's really hard to beat a team 3 times in a season. But, the Steelers have done that before.

I say just run the play where Decastro and Heath pull to the left like we did a few weeks ago. They didn't seem to have an answer for it. LOL.

That was a counter. Your right they had no answer for it. They will try to stop it for sure this time, and be better ready for it.

I wonder if we have a play that we could use that look and run PA out of it? I bet it would be an instant td if we did.

Could be possible, however they like Heath on a lot of play action passing. Heath was one of the pull guys on that counter play.

Just win the game, however we need to. I don't think we would play them in the wild card round. I think that the two teams are likely playing for the 3rd or 5th seed, although Cinci could conceivably grab the #2 if Denver loses. Since the 3 plays the 6, and the 4 plays the 5, I think things would have to play out in an unlikely manner around the AFC for us to meet in the wild card round. I could be wrong though.

I think we're playing for a home game vs. Baltimore, San Diego or Houston, or an away game at Indy.

Lets just line them up and see who wants it more.
My pick is the Steelers will, to host a home playoff game. Then whoever comes in lets line them up again. For all you gamblers, looks like A. Smith is out for tomorrow's game against the Chargers.

Thank you for the help guys. Since we don't play the Bengals in the Wildcard game, Go all out. Dalton is bad in the playoffs, bengals won't get past the first round.

I'm gonna call out my inner Herm Edwards, "you play to win the game"

Of course, his teams didn't, which is why he is commentating now

If we're the 3 and they're the 6 OR if we're the 4 and they're the 5. Or vice versa. Too lazy to figure out all of the different scenarios but I'll bet that at least a couple of them would have us vs. them.

I like the throw it all at them approach. Of course it all boils down to getting the win , but if you show more and win then that gives the other Team more to look at and try to solve . As Coach Tomlin would say not living in your fears . To me that means if I can beat you with my best stuff then my best stuff will beat you again and again and again.......

This weeks winner will be the #3(Cincy has a slim chance at #2). loser will be #5... The only chance of them playing each other before the AFC Championship, is if Cincy gets the #2 seed. Cincy needs to win + a Denver loss to Oak to get the #2 seed

I'll be at the St. Louis game for sure. I live in the St. Louis area!

Fun fact: I worked on building the dome where the rams play.

we're fighting for the #3 seed and the division title..... time to pull out all the tricks
besides, we play the ben-gals twice a season..... there will be no surprises on either side
