He definitely wouldn't have hung out with you. He was affectionally known as Tom BarA$$hole around here.

I have met Lynn Swann on multiple occasions. One of the nicest celebs/athletes you will ever meet. The guy has charisma oozing out of his pores. I have probably mentioned this before, but I'll do it again in case some have not heard it: all of the Steelers' Pro Bowlers were on my flight to L.A. from Miami after Super Bowl XIII to prep for the Pro Bowl, which was played in L.A. at the time. You'd never had known, based on their dress and demeanor, that these guys had just won the Super Bowl. After arriving at LAX, we were waiting at the baggage carousel, and the luggage got caught up the chute. So who climbs over the bags, and up into the chute, and clears it out? Swann. The place went crazy. And then two airport cops came running over. Swann jumped back into the crowd, and hid behind Greene and Harris, giggling like a kid.

So now on to the question: If I had ONE GAME to win, I'd take Swann. But the question talked about who to have as a Steeler long-term, and I'd have to take Stallworth, because of (as someone else mentioned) his longevity. Swann was concussion-prone, and his career was cut short.

so if it's baggage untangling , swanny is the man. LOL. though i figure it would have been a matter of time before jack threw a backup qb up into the chute to break it up.

Cool story 12to88. I have a friend who does trade shows for a living and was able to get an autographed football with an inscription to me from Swann, I don't usually care about stuff like that but him being one of my all time favorite Steelers it was pretty cool.

more value to the team - tough question
is a couple extra years worth more than the spectacular catch that wins the big game
I 'm inclined to go with the flash plays at big moments
I don't see any championships in those extra years

And that was 15 years ago....$750,000 now? Still with the cheap paneling.

I would take Swann probably my favorite Steeler of all time I still have his jersey he made so many big catches in the big games. Stallworth was a good receiver too with more longevity.
