Because your argument is sound and theirs is kinda shaky.

If they're happy going 9-8 every year and getting curb-stomped in the "half the NFL makes the playoffs" wild card round, then they just need to wait and see where Tomlin is hired next...

and how is non-losing seasons working out for the Steelers. Bwahahahaha. Cherry picking is soooooo easy.

It was already listed the GOOD teams that had losing records recently but won super bowls recently.

Again, if you promised me constant 9-8 and 10-7 seasons with no chance at truly contending, or the occasional AWFUL season with an AFC championship here and Super Bowl win there...easy decision.

There is no guarantee when the losing will end, fans think just having a losing season or two then you will automatically turn it around. Just because it worked in 2003 doesn't mean it will work again, you can go 10-7 and still get better.

Winner. Anyone on the Cowboys think that after 3 SB wins in the 90s that they would be 5-13 in the playoffs since, and have 10 losing seasons???
Yeah those losing seasons, and changing of HCs has really helped them. LoL .
    How about the Giants ?
Since they won two SBs in the 2000s they have had 10 losing seasons, and no playoff wins. These are well established NFL teams not the Browns, or the Jets.
