Mike Smith was coach of the year in 08, tomlin has never been coty, and he wont be this year either...........

 

My position is I am also a Tomlin critic and he is not the only problem.

 

According to his Wikipedia page he was the 2008 Motorola Coach of the Year.

Theres only one official one, those mox nix ones arent recognized, he might even get the trojan prophylactic coty this year but it wont count..........

I won 'Angler of the year' in a Regional Bass Club once, pretty cool. The presentation dinner in my honor was going to cost me 40$ per plate and if I wanted a trophy it was another 65$. Getting my nameplate on the plaque that hung on wall at the club was 25$ 'engravers fee'. I politely declined the award.

 

LOL. Well I guess you really weren’t much of a angler after all , if you couldn’t angle for a better deal than that....

 

I did have a good run that year. I still hold the a couple club records on some of the lakes up there. The best part was my boat motor blew up early in the season, so I was fishing out of a retro-fit '76 Baja ski boat. I had to hop over the windshield to fish from the bow. They tried to get me DQed before every tourny for improper vessel, but I was in compliance. And y'all think Tomlin is facing adversary...
