I'm baffled that Shazier isn't in it. Who cares though. Superbowl or Bust.

 

Good for them! I really thought Shazier should've made it. He deserves it. Honestly I'm floored that DeCastro made it, but that's how the PB goes sometimes. Happy for him to make the team tho.

Shazier will become a regular at the Pro Bowl if he can just stay healthy! The man has more athleticism than anyone else at his position. Also think Gilbert will start getting some recognition in the future. But overall, I'm happy with who made it, all deserved it!

 

Gilbert should have made it over DeCastro, IMO.

I think Villanueva should be a backup at LT. He's played well this season.

I'm glad to see 5 bowlers, but DD being number 2 in penalties was a surprise, and Ben had a pedestrian year, 26 TDs 11 picks got in more on past years performance than on this years stats.....

 

Glad to see the Steelers getting their money's worth from Pouncey. Pouncey is definitely NOT overrated this year. He earned it.

Hope to see Pouncey finally get to play in a Super Bowl. Steelers missed him in XLV.

 

Yeah he has grown into one of if not the best RTs in the league. Think about the fact that he shut Von Miller down not once but twice last year.

 

What's the official positions for M&M (Miller and Mack)? Because if it is ILB than Shazier will always have a tough time getting the nod.

 

Decastro caught me off guard as well. Maybe name recognition got him in; the announcers did say his name often this year from all his drive killing penalties.

 

And on the NFC side, how in the world does prescott beat drew brees out for a pro bowl spot, brees threw 14 more TDs and threw for a thousand yards more than he did?????

 

Popularity contest and the media hype. Prescott will lose some of his luster IMO over the next few games now that everything gets more real.

 

Definitely thought Gilbert would have gotten in over DeCastro. Shazier needs to stay healthy for a whole year and maybe he'll have a shot at making it. Congrats to everyone else.
