They gave the same reason that I have seen on other sports shows. That with the Browns signing Watson, our 3 division opponents all have dynamic young QB's and the Steelers have to draft Willis to keep up. I'm not so sure, he could be the next Patrick Mahomes or he could be the next Jamarcus Russell. Too risky for me but we'll see next month what the Steelers do.

Even more sickening was that they had the Ravens picking Jordan Davis. If that happens I might put my foot right through the TV.

Mock drafts are no indication whatsoever of what the team will do. The most accurate mocks get 5-6 picks right out of 32. They might be entertaining and intriguing in the offseason when there is no actual football but that’s about it. The authors have no insight in to what front offices are thinking, none.

The Steelers have set themselves up to take the best player on the board because they have filled most needs. It is all about how the board falls and who is left when they are picking.

We say that just about every year, but they never do it.

You kept telling us how they were going to draft a CB in the first round last year .

I wouldn't mind if they traded back, they could use another mid round pick.

We are set up perfectly to draft the best player available in the top rounds.

Atlanta or Panthers will take him. When we pick, Howell and Corall will be available.

But I agree with the sentiment, after the Browns landed Watson, I felt we need to pick Willis in order to keep pace.

I still think the Steelers will let the 2022 season play out and see what they have in Mitch, if he’s not cutting it, they will look to select a QB next draft in what many are saying is a loaded class.
