This 100 %. How come nobody else is seeing this??. Never mind they just rather push the blame on someone else. Nobody designs a rub play for a easy 1st down, and then tells the Qb....only throw the deep pass. If they were(which they don't) to tell the Qb only go here....it would have been where they designed the rub.

 

So You honestly think they drew up a play....with a rub in it to get the other Wr open right past the 1st down, and then the coach said ....pay that no attention....only go deep. LoL. Please.

 

If that was the primary read then it was for a PI call and it was a horribly thrown ball with plenty of time to throw it. He throws that to the outside and maybe he gets a call or DJ makes the grab. As it was DJ is head locking the DB trying to buy a call that was not believable in the least!

I don't know why you drop back that far on a 4th and 2! You essentially made that throw at least 10 yards. Unacceptable! You call something high percentage there that the players screw up on the field and you can say it's execution. You call a low percentage play they the players screw up, then it's on the coach!

How about 3rd and 6. We throw the ball 3-4 yards and get drilled. I guess you just can’t fix stupid.

That play reminded me of the countless 3rd and 1 bombs that Ben used to throw to Wallace... which had a success rate of maybe 20% at most. Drove me nuts.

My problem is you want to put the PI call in play , so it should be the big WR or TE even and throw the back shoulder .Every team and every QB in the NFL does it heck even the HS QBs in N.C . Can do it.. Somehow we can’t..
