    I have heard someone on the NFL Radio talk about the Steelers using the Transition Tag next year and that it currently would be legal under the CBA.

    Now this doesn't get us any compensation, but would give us the option to match any offered contract Bell was getting. It also could allow us to match and then trade him and get some compensation.

    I don't kno if its true or not, but a buddy just called me and said Denver is interested in trading for Bell, I'm not feeling well so i haven't looked in to it ..

    More to do with cap space than having money. At least the cap prevents contracts from going nuts like they do in baseball.
