A day of milestones. Love it! Congrats to BB, Heath and most of all - Hines. If this is your last year - glad you got that 1000th.

    Other milestones reached today-

Heath Miller passed Lynn Swann to move into 4th place in team history with 337 receptions.

and, as trivial as this sounds-
Shaun Suisham became only the 7th Steelers player to score more than 100 points in a season (others were Roy Gerela, Matt Bahr, Gary Anderson, Norm Johnson, Kris Brown, and Jeff Reed).

Do you think this now guarantees Hines goes to the HOF? I know many around the league hold personal biases against him because of how hard he plays. (Like here in the Raisins' media) I am hoping that his stats alone can get him in the HOF!

i'd be shocked if Hines doesn't make it.
Ton of production (despite playing quite a while in a run first offense), Super Bowl MVP ...

I hope you are correct, because I think he deserves it. Granted, Hines did help turn his rep around a bit by winning "Dancing With The Stars" and previously for winning the Super Bowl MVP, I think. (And, not breaking anyone's jaw lately.) Yet, I still feel he isl despised by too many people who unfortunately do vote for the HOF.

    hines should be a lock.

    *2 super bowl rings
    *1 super bowl mvp
    *eighth on career recptions list
    *eighteenth all-time receiving yardage
*tied for thirteenth all-time receiving td's
*steelers all-time leader in every major receiving category (ahead of two prolific hall-of-famers)
*arguably the greatest blocking wr of all-time
    *million-dollar personality
*and, of course, one mirrored ball trophy
