4 night games

But it means four nationally televised Steelers games!

 

Unless they get flexed out of a Sunday night

 

I hate night games, because I usually go to bed around 9:30-10pm. The next day at work sucks, win or lose. 1pm games are the best, IMO.

2004 season was amazing because the Steelers had mostly 1pm games because they went 6-10 the previous year. That and they went 15-1. Good times.

 

Yeah I agree.

Time difference means night games finish 4-5 am over here. Not a fan, suffice to say.

 

I'm with you. I get up early. Plus I'm old and grumpy.

 

KC game might get flexed into a night game if both teams continue their winning ways. Which will be fine by me as I'll be attending that one in person

 

I work nights.. Thurs and Mon games blow for me.

 

Unless the rules have changed you're only allowed five primetime games per season

Totally with you. I actually took some vacation days the days after these night games so im not going into work all tired, especially if they lose.
There isnt alot of things worse in life than going to work tired as hell because you stayed up to watch the Steelers lose.

 

Worst for me are MNF games.. Thats way past my bedtime. Hate Mondays to begin with lol

 

As long as we win them all. I'm good with it!

One night game per week was plenty but noooo they had to really screw things up.
I record the night games and watch the next day. Trust me, I need my beauty rest.

lol. Actually I think she'd prefer all the games be night games.

 

Since I dont have cable or satellite, I like the Sunday Night games. But even then, it kind of sucks to watch because I get up at 4am. I'm DRAGGING the following day at work.

See - another excellent reason to move out here to the left coast - not only will you help water down this zany population but no game starts later than 5:30 in the late afternoon with many starting at 10am. Even Heinz Mustard will be tucked in bed by 9pm. Homes are still cheap out here in the Mojave Desert and I've only seen one rattler and one scorpion in 15 years -no skunks and no mosquitoes either. Pickup truck mandatory though.

Actually another benny in the "high" desert (>3500 ft) is that swamp coolers work about 95% of the time during the summer (when humidity hovers around 10%) and provide more than an adequate amount of coolish air. A good friend who's a HVAC contractor down the hill in the LA basin is amazed how well my "swamp thing" works out here at the daily cost of just running a few fans. My avatar says it all about my personal paradise.
