I don't know, it pretty much matches his draft response video/picture.

It is really hard to get a read from OTA's.
    What I typically look for
    - How the OTA's are organized.
    - How the coaches drill into the technique and how the player responds.
    - Are the players in shape
    - Is there a 'pace' and smooth transitions from one drill to the next.

The participation is not mandatory, but you'd like to see the guys there.

Pickett looked smooth, but also looked like a rookie. I like how he handles himself with the media and for that matter the players around him.
Pickens athleticism was definitely on display, can that transition to pads?
    Flores was a highlight.

The players will get sent home with their heads full of coaching and playbooks.
When camp opens up again, I look for the adjustments from them.

There's reason to be optimistic, but so are 31 other teams.

Remember that Leal did state a couple weeks back he has added 15lbs; from 283 to being now at least 298lbs. Could be more but one major aspect to consider here; weight is carried differently by not just body types but also heights. As you said, Loudermilk is now up to 310lbs already but he is a taller player as well. Leal as shorter than Loudermilk but being 298 at 6'4 is still by no means a death sentence. For reference, Johnathan Allen of the Washington Commanders is 300lbs but he is only an inch shorter than Leal at 6'3. Yes, one inch is a difference but not to the same effect as two.

Overall though, if there is one major benefit for DeMarvin is his age; 21 Years old currently. He still has time to develop his maturing body and will likely do so moving forward. The talent and potential is something I have never questioned him about. The consistency however?! That is an entirely different set of circumstances there.

Which DeMarvin Leal will the Steelers get?! The one that was widely reputed to be a Top 10 selection heading into the 2021 College Football Season or the one who fell to the third round due to the aforementioned consistency woes and run defense problems?!
