3 single season team records set today

Antonio Brown- set a new time record for receptions in a season, now with 115 with 2 games to go. Brown also finished the game with 1,498 receiving yards, 1 less than his record total from last year.

William Gay- had his 3rd interception return for a TD this season, a new team record.

Ben Roethlisberger-broke his team record for most passing yards in a season, now with 4,405.


and actually there was 4th and 5th- Le'Veon Bell continues to add to his team records for most receptions by a RB and for most receiving years by a RB in a season.

Brown now has the 4th most receptions in team history, all done in less than 5 seasons. He is having one of the all time great WR seasons. He likely will finish with the 2nd highest total receptions, and possibly as high as the 3rd or 4th most yards in a season of all time.

 

Where does Bell stand with total yards from scrimmage...Heck, I figured he'd be close to an NFL record, let alone a team. Figured I'd ask rather than look it up.

 

Chris Johnson - 2509 yds (2009)

 

Bell has 2043 now- and that is yet another single season team record set today, eclipsing Barry Foster's 1992 total of 2,034.

Gee whiz.

 

Charles Johnson is the all time leader with 2,509. As it stands Bell has 2,043.

 

He's 48th on the all time list between Emmit Smith and Ray Rice.
