3 plays away?

Seems incredible that despite:

• Coaching decisions have been -to say the least- questionable this season.
• OC & DC: Unprepared. Underprepared. Outcoached. Outsmarted themselves.
• Trying same recipe from last week, trying to fool the Ratbirds (Wildcat issues -int-)
• Not letting Rudolph go deep early (past games)...
• Very questionable calls from our HC & OC (& our DC too, letting mismatches while putting LBs on speedy WRs)...
• Officiating issues (not getting into specifics, we all know what I'm talking about.
• Our franchise QB injured 6 qtrs into the season...
• Our backup, while playing his best football, knocked out of the game (E Thomas should have been suspended. Come on, if Ola's hit was a RTP, Earl's hit was worth an immediate ejection)
• Today, playing with a 3rd stringer QB, practically coming from the street to QB the biggest rivalry we have and getting the game to OT.

3 plays have defined our season so far:
-Conner fumble vs SF
-Def failing to stop 3rd & 15 vs SEA
-Juju fumble vs BAL

(I really feel sorry for the defense...)

 

I've lived in 4 NFL cities in my life. Buffalo, NYC, Houston and Pitt.

Only one has a fan base that doesn't know what a bad team looks like. Count your blessings.

But one of the traits of bad teams is not that they stink the whole game. It's that they make the bad play at exactly the wrong time.

 

I agree but give Tomlin time and we will know what a truly bad team is.

 

This cannot go on. This has got to stop. Coaches need to tighten up. We had bad field position because of special teams, and that's on coaching. We are losing games all kinds of ways and today it was field position.
