Yes you would think against this D points will be at a premium. Gotta take the 3 when we have a chance make the Houston offense beat us.

Texans had multi-sack games against some very good QBs this season. What is the over/under on sacks for Rodgers in this game? If the Steelers get their average game, you're looking at almost 4 sacks on Rodgers. Too bad Washington is out.

    *Lawrence = 2 games

If the Steelers brain trust can't figure out the middle of the field, opposing teams
wr's running wide open then we will exit the playoffs quickly. We have seen this ALL year.
Someone needs held accountable for this debacle.

    4. No MVS. No way, no how. It has not been working out for us--thankfully Austin is back and looks good. Focus on DK, him, Muth, and Thielan. Maybe Miller here and there.

I feel really confident about this game. I like the matchup of our defense vs. the Texans offense a lot if we’re healthy. Having a healthy Harmon along with Heyward and Watt makes everyone else on the front better. Our secondary should be good enough to do their part when they’re not focused on stopping a top flight run game like Baltimore’s. Am I too confident? The Steelers’ postseason track record over nearly a decade has truly sucked, but for some reason I think this is the year we finally make a bit of noise.

If we get toasted again it may be enough to make me skip the entire offseason like I did after the last playoff loss to the Jags. That year I never watched another snap of NFL playoffs or the SB, and didn’t watch the draft for the only time in 20+ years.

Can Dugger and Ramsey bounce back after sucking for the last few games, they can't let the Texans receivers get behind them.

The Colts scored some points early on I would still test them deep with Metcalf and Austin.

It`s on the defense to keep scoring by the Texans offense low. I want them held to 0 or 3 points at the half.

If they got 14 points or more at the half and we are losing, probably game over already.

Metcalf needs to leave the dropsies at home and win the 50/50s.

The good thing about Metcalf being back is it puts MVS back on the bench and limits him to 1-3 targets.

    Dominate Time of Possession.
    Score TDs not FGs.
    Generate 2+ turnovers.

Shorten the game and grind out a 20-17 win. Force Texans to play from behind.

Not that I see that happening....but that's gotta be how it goes.

Yeah. Qb don't throw ints, fumble the ball, and centers don't snap the ball over the Qbs head. Almost all of those big leads are because of us turning the ball over one way ,or the other.

I thought they sat some guys. I know one of their corners missed the game.

One thing, I do know , I'm tired of hearing about their pass rush, like we don't have a pass rush.

I don't see the Jaguars winning that game as a good thing if the Steelers advance. It takes away the opportunity to get another home game. Also, I think the Steelers can do much better if they get another shot at the Bills. The run defense is that different with Harmon, who missed their regular-season meeting. No opponent is going to be easy if they get past the Texans, but I'd be rooting for the the Chargers and Bills to win this weekend so the Steelers have a shot at another home game.

I really dont want anything to do with Josh Allen. We dont fare well against elite QB’s. The truly elite.

But I get the desire for a home game.

That isn't as easy to do with Metcalf available.

Trevor Lawrence may not have the same track record, but he is playing like an elite quarterback right now and he probably has better receivers.

Yeah ,but, and JMO, Allen has the best OL , and RB left in the playoffs, and their pass D is pretty dang good also.
If Josh Allen doesn't make the SB this year, I don't know when He will.
