No Cruz missiles for the games.

Mid June and your Pittsburgh Pirates are 36-36 a mere 8 games behind those first place beer makers. Actually thought we had something going on there but the pitching has walked the plank plus injuries to key players really hurts.

I'm guessing this road trip will send them under .500 for the season.:crycry: Damn shame because it is against teams a fully healthy Bucs team could hang with.

Just an opinion but from what I'm reading there will be no MLB in 2027. Winner of the 2026 World Series will get to hold the title for 2 years unless it's those bums from Brooklyn because then it'd be 4 years.

I am going on a fan strike until they release Ozuna and make moves to better the bullpen. I just won’t pay any attention to them until then. Got other things to do anyway.

I understand how the Pirates are run (cheaply) so I don't expect Playoff caliber teams. With a little effort put in by the front office this 2026 team could have kept it interesting into Sept. Those were two big injuries the Bucs suffered. Cruz and Konnor with a K. We certainly are not a good defensive team. Cruz being out probably helps there. Bullpen is double A. That said, I'll stay with them as long as .500 is on the table. Pretty sure the table will be cleared within a few weeks.

We knew Braves and Bums were going to be a problem but losing 2 of 3 to the very beatable Marlins was sad. The whole team pretty much shut down with runners on base and the pitching? Oh well, should be interesting in Vegas and Rocky Mtn High with all the recent high scoring games at both venues. Would have been nice with KG and Cruz in the lineup. You know the pitching will get scorched.

Whoops, I take back my comments about Bucs playing at the new A's stadium in Vegas. I guess that was just a few games played there at a minor league field against the Brewers but not their $2 billion stadium that won't be ready until 2028. Looks like the next 3 games will be played at their West Sacramento minor league field. Oh goody. Maybe Williamsport is next?
