Great, if you think the future is set waiting for a 43 yr old to make up his mind, ok then.

 

The first day of free agency and you can't stop complaining you're in midseason form .

 

To be fair, the first day is when the best players go.

 

You wanted to pay Malik Willis 45mil guaranteed and are complaining about Omar? Dude played maybe two good games and was a$$ in Tennessee.

 

And also when the most players get overpaid.

 

Oh stfu crying, people are going to react to the moves as they happen if you don't like come back when FA is over.

 

I think Willis to Miami was a done deal their new GM came from Green Bay, other teams probably didn't have much of a chance in getting him.

My guess is that at least 2/3 of these decisions look good by the end of next season.

One of Gainwell or Pierre will likely revert to the mean.

And Willis is almost certainly going to be a bad deal (because most QBs fail).

 

I wanted to keep Gainwell and Pierre too, but your whining is unwarranted.

 

You were quoting rmorphy who brought him up with your Omar comment. Maybe you didn't agree with that part. My bad if so.

Which should make You worry about a player not running at the combine.
I'll take a rb that doesn't run in the 4.40s , but I won't take a CB that runs slower than a 4.50.

 

I have no interest in Willis.

 

CB play is intensely variable from year to year. Maybe like a handful of guys in the league can do it season in and season out. Most can't.

Pierre looked like a bottom of the roster player every chance he got before last season. Chances of him replicating or beating that stretch is really low.

If you look at the guarantees and the depth chart in Minnesota...Pierre is gonna be the back-up outside CB.

It really looks, at least today, like a player wanting to go to a specific place.

 

I'm guessing most guys will run at their pro days.

The trend seems to be for players to do less and less at the combine outside of interviews.

 

Last I checked the first day isn't over .

Pro days are a cheat. Everyone runs faster at prodays.

 

This x100. James made me eat crow last season when I questioned his value beyond special teams. He had a very good year and was the most solid backup that got full time reps that played last season. However if people on the board are pinning for him just wait he will be available on roster cut down day or shortly after.
