I wonder if this Patrick Queen to Dallas chatter is legit. And if it is, was Cole Holcomb a Patrick Queen replacement and not a Malik Harrison replacement?

Good signing to replace KG. Kahn in action filling key holes. Can't say MM is winning with Tomlin's players.

This has Mike McCarthy written all over it. UDFA in 2020 spent his first 5 years with Dallas.

So we lose Seamulo Pierre and Kenny G

    Add Pittman Dean and Rico

Pretty good day 1 I would say.

Also consider that he was CB1 in Tampa. I don't know if that meant he travelled with WR1, but in Pittsburgh - JPJ often followed WR1 up until Ramsey was brought in. Dean will not be asked to do even the same amount of work as he did in Tampa.

Are the same people who are worried about Dean being 29 the same people who are upset that Pierre is gone? They might want to do a quick check on their birth dates. Spoiler alert...Aging Jamel Dean is one month younger than young upstart James Pierre.

My point is the Chiefs were still in the playoff hunt when they played Buffalo, they also had to play Houston which New England didn't.

They got two starters at two of the weakest positions on the team in Pittman and Dean.

Not a bad first day. Like the Dean move the most. If he stays healthy thats a tough couple of corners to throw on.

Khan doing a good job on day one they're not locked into drafting one particular position in round one.

That would be a big problem. I know Queen has been disappointing, but Wilson and Holcomb as starters with no depth is not good.

We will have to see what the new defensive coordinator decides to do with them. Maybe Graham will be comfortable with each just playing one side rather than Porter following the best receiver. It all depends on how he wants to play it and how the defense is playing once the season starts.

I'm just happy they are getting a second quality corner before the draft. All these acquisitions in free agency really sets them up to target specific players in the draft with the 12 picks they have.

I mean right now going in looking at Guard and Tackle still.

I liked what Cook did from Jones injury on, but we saw him start to get a little exposed the more tape teams had on him.

Jones was trending better week by week until injury, but that's a huge ask to see him come back this year after a spinal fusion and be where he was when he was injured.

Right now they only technically have 2 tackles available and losing Seaumalu at right guard is going to hurt.
