Redrafting first two rounds of 2025 NFL class: 64 new picks - ESPN

Not quite sure about this although I will say it's tough to rate a pick that is on a pathetically losing team. But the defense wasn't their problem. In fact, it was very good.

    21. Pittsburgh Steelers
Original pick: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
New pick: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

It was a toss-up between Harmon and Graham because fortifying the defensive line is still the best use of the Steelers' pick. Though Harmon made a noticeable difference when healthy, Graham, a PFWA All-Rookie team selection, would have been a slight upgrade after starting 17 games for the Browns. He had seven tackles for loss and 49 total tackles this season. -- Brooke Pryor

    Another site suggested this guy.

Maybe McCarthy can pick him up in FA in a few seasons?

Harmon was a great pick, Im happy with it.

Rod Woodson says we should have taken Dart. I have heard Tomlin was the reason they didnt. I was unsure about Dart but early returns are promising but hes still not there yet.

Well of course we should have picked Graham over Harmon. Which is why Graham was picked #5 overall, and Harmon was picked #21. And we also should have picked Brady in the 5th.
As far as picking up Dart, just glad we didn't draft the QB everyone said we were thinking about in the first.

    I'm mixed on Harmon.
But in his defense, the 1st year is usually finding out that "In shape for college" is not the same as "In shape for the NFL."

I would also have to say that Brooke Pryor is a bit on the lazy side.
Her "analysis of every Steeler signing" was late and incomplete. A lot of her stuff is.

Grahm did play 17 games but I'm not as sure about his ceiling, Harmon's seems higher.
I did give the Harmon selection a C or D for the year, mostly for missing a lot of time.

Derrick Harmon is fine. With him, Pittsburgh's Run Defense improved. Without him, Pittsburgh's Run Defense suffered.

Derrick is the least of my concerns among the young players. He will be fine.

I'm happy with the Harmon selection. He just needs to be able to say on the field.
